Privacy policy

What we collect
- The sign-up form. Your name, your email address, your business and suburb, and your message. If you picked your business in the search bar, we also get its Google place ID and the kind of business.
- "Notify me". Your email address, the business you picked and the kind of business you typed. We keep them until we make reports for that kind of business. Then we send you one email and send no more about it.
- When you buy a report. Stripe takes the payment. We get your email address, the amount, the Google place ID of each business and the kind of business. We never see your card number.
- The search bar. We send the words you type to Google to find matching businesses. We do not save what you type.
- AI assistants (our MCP server). If you use Vaeo from an AI assistant through our MCP server, we get only what the assistant sends to our tools: search words, the business picked, the questions chosen and order keys. We never get your conversation with the assistant. We do not save any of it, except an order you go on to pay for, as above.
How we use it
We use your details only to contact you about Vaeo and to send you the report you bought. We never sell or share them.
Other services we use
- Google Maps Platform. The search bar uses the Google Places API. When you use the search bar, the Google Privacy Policy applies to what Google receives.
- Stripe. Stripe takes payments for us on its own page. The Stripe Privacy Policy applies to what you give Stripe.
- Cloudflare. Cloudflare hosts this site and checks that the sign-up form is used by a person (Turnstile). The form sends your details to us by email. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits to this site: which pages, and where visitors came from. It uses no cookies and does not follow you to other sites.
